Charlie,
Like our great President I am 79 this year and a first year Boomer. I back President Trump one hundred percent, however I have felt this an inevitable conflict for some time. My father was a 30 year career officer in the US Army serving in the Pacific towards the end of WW11. During the Korean conflict his orders took him to Augsburg, Germany and we accompanied him living there 3 1/2 years. We witnessed the horrible destruction from the war and the initiation of the Marshall Plan. Upon returning to the states, Dad took on responsibilities at Walter Reed and Ft. Myer. Additionally, there were tours in France (3yrs), Vietnam and Okinawa. My husband also served in the US Army. My son served 5 years as a US Marine and now works in research for the Navy. My heart remains in support of our veterans and active duty military. The majority of us love and pray for our President and his family and I now have two grandsons who eagerly enlisted into the Marine Corps after November 5th.
