  • I say this with all respect… why not lead with “if you are a federal employee who takes your job seriously and works hard for this country this message is not for you.” On one hand, we celebrate the appointments of Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel and Robert F Kennedy Junior but then when federal civilians are told not to respond to an email that was mentioned Sat on social media by Elon Musk (by that same Trump appointed leadership) the federal employees are text you mocked as leeches and parasites. I think I know what you meant. I know there’s a lot of deluded entitled people out there, but I am living it and I am seeing very hard-working people in my Army division in my command and they are hurting from this and their work is suffering from this and it’s all a joke to Elon on social media and everyone who follows him. There is so much hate spewed towards all federal employees, including veterans. It’s disgusting. I thought DOGE was going to root out corruption and go after fraud and waste and abuse and help work with agency appointed leadership to make them operate better. Instead it is loudest megaphones in the conservative to continuously punch down and ridicule anybody who dares be a federal employee alongside CNN and other leftist “news” loving every minute of it and stirring the pot. This whole thing has been executed wrong and I am one that has been hanging on and supporting and making excuses and trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. There are a lot of people like me who don’t have a correlating job in the private sector for what I do unless I work for a government contractor in which the government would be paying me more than what I’m paid now. Right now I am an army civilian who evaluates federal contract proposals to try to get better pricing. There’s a lot of us in related acquisition fields and we don’t always win and there’s a lot of things that could be improved in the acquisition process that we were hopeful DOGE and Elon’s tech would help us with, but instead it’s become this “all fed workers are dumb lazy and insubordinate” and it’s making our jobs even more difficult and the defense contractors are loving it. I pray for you and your team daily. I will never forget how it felt watching you and your team live stream when Trump won the election. My husband and I will always support you and turning point.
